The “Barranco Sima del Diablo” is a small river in the “Serranía de Ronda“ (Ronda Mountains), the “Río de las Zúas”, which has a permanent flow of water during the whole year and forms 4 cascades between 3 and 10 metres deep. That is where we do abseiling. It is not a deep and narrow canyon, but more a mountain river that allows us to get out of the water flow whenever we want.

There are four very attractive abseiling gaps. On the first one we abseil the upper part and then let ourselves slide down into a small pool. The second abseiling gap is the most challenging one. It is a 10 metres deep cascade that forms a bend first and then the water abruptly falls down into a bigger pool. The other two gaps are quite easy to climb down.
